Better early than late, right?

Despite being told by the desk clerk that the first flight doesn't arrive until after 7, and the first flight doesn't depart until 7:45, we didn't check our flight info and INSISTED that our flight was at 6:30 and we needed cabs at 4 a.m. Where we got 6:30 we have no idea... we rolled up to the airport at 4:30, only to find out it doesn't open til 5. The guard took pity on us and let us in early. Once in the airport, we discovered that our flight was the first one out... at 8:10.
