I should've been a travel agent
I have no idea how much time I've spent so far planning this trip. I do know that it's far more interesting than studying BarBri...
The amount of money I will have spent in the end boggles my mind. However, I have to believe it will all be worth it. I will get to spend quality time with friends and family in amazing places I have always wanted to visit. I'll have great memories to reflect on when I'm stuck in my office writing a memo or doing doc review. And I'll to get to scratch the travel itch that's been growing since I got back to the States in 2001, which has only gotten more insistent since our incredible trip to South America over spring break.
Anyway, my current plan is:
August 11-18: Quito, Equadar and the Galapagos Islands with a large crew
August 19-26: Incan Peru with a trek to Macchu Pichu
August 30-September 22: South East Asia with JoAnn
September 23-October 8: Delhi, India to Kathmandu, Nepal with my dad.
I'll get back to San Francisco on October 9th and on October 11th I'll be in NoVa for first year training!
My roommate has put together a useful site with information and links about the South American portion of the trip, here.
Let the fun begin! After the bar of course... (send me good thoughts July 25, 26, and 27!).
